Reducing inequalities, and promoting cultural diversity

At Overseas Relief Organization, we have identified the role inequality and economic growth have played in poverty reduction as key to understanding the change pattern in poverty over the period.

Despite the gains made in reducing poverty in Ghana, all indices show that inequality has increased between 1992 and 2015.

By tackling the root causes of inequality and poverty while respecting and celebrating the diversity of our nation, we aim to create a future where prosperity is shared by every individual, ensuring that no one is left behind in our pursuit of a poverty-free and culturally vibrant society.

This rise in inequality is a concerning trend that demands our attention. At Overseas Relief Organization, we believe that addressing this issue is crucial to achieving sustainable poverty reduction. We are committed to implementing programs and initiatives that not only focus on economic growth but also strive to bridge the wealth gap and promote equitable opportunities for all, recognizing the rich cultural diversity that defines Ghana.
