Access to save water, basic toilets, and good hygiene practices not only keeps community people thriving, but also gives them a healthier start in life.
Globally, Three (3) billion people including hundreds of millions of school-going children, do not have access to handwashing facilities with soap and more than half of the global population does not have access to safe sanitation with 673 million people still practicing open defecation. The most vulnerable and the most affected are people living in low-income countries, rural areas, urban slums, and disaster-prone areas
So, Overseas Relief Organization thriving to improve access to safe water, sanitation, and proper hygiene would work towards achieving Sustainable Development Goal 6 in 2030
We build the knowledge and develop the capacity of relevant stakeholders in the water and sanitation and hygiene sector and people in rural communities for best practices and establish mechanisms for ensuring sustainability.
